Coral Frag Rack, Nano 6 Hole, Magnet Mount

This is a flat plate with 6 holes in it. Each hole takes the stem of a coral frag plug, so the plug stands up on the plate. The holes measure 10.125mm across and they run all the way through, so the length of the stem does not matter. Holes sit 38.1mm apart, center to center, and the plate is laid out for plug tops up to 25.4mm across, about 1 inch. Between the plug holes are smaller open holes. They cut the weight of the plate and let water move through it. There is no standard size for a frag plug stem. That is worth knowing before you buy any rack, and most racks quietly skip it. Brands publish 9.0mm, 9.525mm (3/8 inch), 10.0mm, and 11.113mm (7/16 inch) stems, and one brand sells two of those sizes in its own store. One plug on the market is square, not round, and no round hole suits it. This rack is cut for the 9.525mm (3/8 inch) stem, the one the most brands publish, plus a little room around it. That room is our own number, not a number anyone publishes. We have not had a real plug in a printed hole yet, so measure your plugs first and treat the hole size as what it is, a measurement of our part. This one holds on with a magnet. The pocket in the back is closed on every side, so the disc sits inside solid plastic and never touches the water. Salt water eats a bare magnet, which is why we seal it in. Each pocket takes one 20.0mm by 5.0mm disc, and this rack has one of them. The disc goes in part way through the print, so the pocket is never opened, never glued shut, and never something you fill yourself. The magnets come with it. Each pocket has its disc fitted at our end, and we send one matching disc for the dry side of the glass with every pocket, so a one pocket rack arrives ready to put up. The outside ones are coated, since those sit out in the open on wet glass. We do not publish a hold figure, so set it up on your own glass and check it yourself before you load the plate. We print in PETG. Aquarium keepers have used it submerged for years. Rinse before use.
