About TankRig

Built for better aquarium setups.

TankRig designs and prints aquarium parts in the USA. Adapters, spray bars, guards, media baskets, and equipment mounts, all made to order in PETG.

Printed to order

Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for a buyer. Your part gets printed after you place the order.

Made in the USA

Every part is printed and packed here in the USA, not shipped in from overseas stock.

Strong PETG plastic

One material across the whole catalog. It is what the aquarium hobby has trusted underwater for years.

Ships in 3 to 5 business days

That clock runs from your order to the day the box is handed to the carrier.

Why TankRig exists

Every tank runs into the same wall. The gear almost works together, but not quite. A canister hose needs to meet a different size of tubing. A heater sits bare in the corner. The back chamber of an all in one tank has no basket built for it. A pump needs a guard, a probe needs a holder, an outlet needs a spray bar.

The big accessory brands do not make those in between pieces. There is no shelf at the fish store for them, because there is not enough volume in any one of them to fill a pallet. So we make them.

That is the whole company. Adapters, guards, spray bars, lily pipes, media baskets, mounts, and holders, built for the gear aquarium keepers already own. When somebody needs a piece we do not have yet, it goes on the list we use to pick what to build next.

Made in the USA

Every TankRig part is made in the USA. Your part is printed in our US print shop after you place the order, then packed and handed to a carrier. Ships in 3 to 5 business days.

Nothing waits in a warehouse first, and nothing is bought in from overseas stock and relabeled. The part in your box did not exist before you placed the order.

Why made to order is better for you

A normal accessory brand has to guess how many of each size will sell, order a container of them, and eat whatever is left. That math kills the odd sizes first. The part you need is the one that never got made.

We hold no stock, so we can carry shapes that would never earn a spot on a store shelf. Today that is 235 parts across 27 families. A parametric generator builds the geometry, so adding one more size costs us a file instead of a pallet, and no part in the catalog ever goes obsolete on a shelf.

It also means we can make one. If you want a size we do not list, the part builder lets you set the numbers yourself, and it will only let you build a combination that has already passed our print check. Bigger runs go through the same shop, on the bulk and pro page.

Printed in PETG

We print every part in PETG, one material across the whole catalog. It is the plastic the aquarium hobby has trusted underwater for years, and it is tougher and less brittle than the plastic most desktop printers run by default.

Rinse a new part in clean water before it goes in your tank, the same as you would with anything else new.

Print checked before a family goes on sale

When we build a new part family, we print a real sample of it, hold it, and look it over. Clean layers, clean holes, no failed spots. A family does not open up to order until that sample has already passed our print check.

A real person answers

Write to support@tankrig.com and a person reads it. Not a bot, not a form letter.

If you are not sure which part goes with your setup, send photos. Our photo help page tells you which shots are useful, you email them in, and a person looks at them and writes back.

If the piece you need is not in the catalog yet, tell us what you run. Every request goes on the list we use to decide what to build next, and a lot of the catalog started that way.

Ordering and shipping

Checkout runs through Shopify, so your card and address are handled by Shopify's own secure checkout, not by something we built.

Shipping is a flat $7.95 per order, charged on top of the price of the part. We ship to addresses in the United States only. 30 day refunds, and you keep the part. The full policy is on our returns page.

Made in the USA. Printed to order, every time.
