These are mechanical shrouds. Two halves close around a round heater body and a pair of clips holds them shut. We make no claim about heat, about burns, or about keeping anything in your tank safe.
Pick your body class and length. We make a 25 mm round class in 150 mm, 200 mm, 250 mm, and 300 mm, plus an adjustable 32 mm class in 200 mm. Each one comes with a rim clip or a suction bracket.

How do I pick the right length in segments?
The guard is built in segments, in 150mm, 200mm, 250mm, and 300mm. Match the length to the glass tube on your heater, not to the length printed on the box, because a box length includes the control head.
Will the guard fit my Cobalt Neo-Therm, Fluval E series, or Aqueon Pro?
No. Those three heaters are not round, so a round guard cannot close around them. Our heater guard guide lists all three with their published shapes.
How does the guard close around my heater?
Two halves close around the round heater body, and a pair of clips holds them shut.
Should I pick the suction mount or the rim clip mount?
Pick the suction mount to stick it to the glass near your heater. Pick the rim clip mount to hang it from the tank wall instead.
