A reef media basket is an open, refillable basket shaped to drop into the back filter chamber of an all in one reef tank. It holds your own media in place, so water moves through it instead of around it.
We build one today for two tanks in the Nuvo Fusion line. Here is what fits, and what to do if your tank is not on the list.
What does a reef AIO media basket do?
An all in one reef tank runs its filtration in a built in back chamber, instead of a separate sump. A basket drops into that chamber. It holds your media, foam, carbon, bio media, or floss, while water flows through the slotted walls.
The flared rim gives you a spot to lift the basket out by, for rinsing or a media swap.
Which Nuvo Fusion tanks does this fit?
We make a basket for two tanks in the line today.

We design each basket to the back chamber of the tank it is named for. Tank molds vary a little between production runs, so check the fit against your own tank before you rely on it.

We print every part in PETG. It is the material aquarium keepers have used submerged for years. We cannot promise how any part performs in your tank. You know your tank and your animals best, so the call is always yours. Rinse each part in clean water before you add it to your tank.
