This is a two piece, 90 degree elbow adapter that connects 12/16mm hose (Eheim Classic 150/250/350/600, JBL InSet) to 1/2 inch PVC pipe (Schedule 40). It ships as 2 parts that friction fit together to make the bend, so it can reach around a corner a straight or 45 degree adapter cannot. We print in PETG. Aquarium keepers have used it submerged for years. Rinse before use.

- What is in the box
- 2 printed pieces. The pieces are the two halves of the bend. They friction fit together, and no glue is needed to join them.
- How it goes on
- Press the two halves together by hand to form the 90 degree bend.
- Look at both ends. Each end is cut for the size named in the fitment table on this page.
- Push each end on by hand until it seats.
- Fully seat the hose on the barb. Use an appropriately sized hose clamp where your installation calls for one.
- Check it the first time
- Rinse the part in clean water before it goes in your tank.
- After startup, inspect each connection for leaks.
- Cleaning
- Pull it off and rinse it in clean water when you clean the rest of your hose line.
- Taking it off
- Twist it and pull it off by hand. The two halves pull apart the same way.

The elbow adapter is built for a full 90 degree turn. For a straight run or a 45 degree bend, see our adapters instead.
Does the elbow adapter fit the same hose sizes as the straight adapters?
Each elbow size is cut to a hose or pipe size, the same way our straight adapters are. Check the size on the product page against your own hose.
