Overflow Standpipe Silencer, 1-1/4 Inch PVC
This baffle slips over your overflow standpipe. It fits 1-1/4 inch PVC pipe. That pipe size comes from the PVC standard, not a guess. It works with a Herbie style or BeanAnimal style drain, the two common quiet-drain setups hobbyists build. Inside, small vanes break up the water as it falls, and slots on the side let air bleed out. That takes the gulp out of the drain, so it runs smoother. We do not publish a noise number. Push it on by hand for a snug fit. We do not glue it, so you can pull it off to clean it. Rinse before use.
